“Color Your Way To Calm”

I spoke of my Aunt Carol’s passing on November 20, 2015 a few journal entries ago. I will say that she was a strong woman who inspired so many people during her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. For the past three months I’ve been working, hand and hand, with my Uncle Mike to bring Aunt Carol’s vision to life. It’s called “Color Your Way To Calm”…

Unleashing The Muse

I am constantly looking for the next adventure or experience to feed my muse. Well, last month’s “Girl’s Night Out” with my friend Nicole did the trick! My Aunt Carol lost the battle to Pancreatic Cancer on November 20, 2015.
The day she passed away, my niece wanted to write a song for her. I suggested she write a letter to Aunt Carol and start it with, “Dear Aunt Carol, Can’t wait to see you again…”
Once she was done, I was in tears by the second sentence. I took the letter, added some magical touches, lyrically and musically, and this is what came from it…
