A Final Farewell to “Stilettos-n-Steel” 

Dear Friends, Family & New Found Fans,

There’s no easy way to say this, so here it goes…

As of July 1st 2014, “Stilettos-n-Steel” will be no more. Jason and I are ending the journey and parting ways. Our summer tour schedule is being cancelled as we speak. We will be leaving up all our social media sites until August 1, 2014 to make sure everyone is filled in on this news and can choose to follow us individually. Now, I know many of you right about now might be scratching your heads, so I have chosen to share my perspective here to lessen any unneeded drama or crosstalk. 

My Thoughts…. 

While Jason’s decision to stop moving forward with “Stilettos-n-Steel” was very hard to swallow at first, I now see that this is what is supposed to be. We are only given what we can handle. And, to take that a step further, when we are truly doing what we love, doors will always open and close, it’s a part of the game plan and it’s up to us to just listen to that voice that tells us what next step we are to take. So I’ve been listening…

Not to say that there hasn’t been a well of emotions that have passed through me over these past weeks since the news was final. And I would be lying to say life has not been a very big challenge.

Initially, I was shocked by Jason’s decision. It happened quickly and I had no real time to register it. When it did start to register, sadness filled my heart, followed by a surge of anger and resentment, which then flipped back around again to sadness. Then, after all those feelings were felt and honored, a final sense of calm and acceptance filled me as I chose to take on being understanding, forgiving and in support of Jason’s decision. Life is messy and it’s our job to do our best to keep ourself grounded and in self care when the mess comes on in.

So today as I wish Jason all the best on his journey ahead, I honor myself and my journey. I am willing to move forward on my own and am quite excited about what is next…

Before I go… 

You know, what Jason and I created and experienced over the past few years as “Stilettos-n-Steel” has been nothing less than magical, life changing and an absolute adventure every step of the way. I personally would take nothing back and I am truly grateful for the whole experience.
