As I started writing tonight’s journal, I glanced over to my left and saw this …

A big smile came to my face as I saw Oscar’s tiny body at rest. What it reminded me of is the beauty and the power of rest. Rest allows me to take time to simply shut off, be still and gain energy when all is emptied from my body from the past week’s adventure.

And now, as this past week is nothing more than a memory, I get to embrace it and think back to really gain perspective and gratitude for every part of it! And what comes to mind first is… yes, I am pooped! And this is a great thing. It means I spent up all my energy using my creative gifts in a postive and productive way. And in return, I recieved nothing but pure joy!

Yes! I had the chance to continue my musical vision quest RocketHub campaign on Fire Island, playing some truly fun gigs, sharing my stories and my songs with the whole community, meeting some wonderful folks along the way, getting some quality time in with my friends and myself, sharing some wonderful home cooked meals, taking walks on the beach, watching the community around me just enjoy their fun time, and of course, how could I forget that adventurous bike ride in the pouring rain that Deanna and I experience to and from Ocean Beach. And then, the icing on the cake; returning home and getting to share with those I love this incredible news; my 2015 Sweden tour. Yes, I’d say that was a magical week!

I do believe this deserves a little pause. So, as I sit back for the remainder of this night, give gratitide to each and every one of you, and reminess on this week’s journey, I am willing to see what’s next to come… Whatever it is, I am ready for it!
