I met Richard when I was 18 years old. It was during the first week of orientation at CW Post University. I remember it like it was yesterday. Mike M., who I’d spent 4 years with at Cardinal Spellman HS in The Bronx, was standing in front of Nassau Hall; one of three dorms assigned to first year students.
