Yes! The music video for my single, “Getting Out Of My Own Way”, (Lyrics and Music by Jennifer Vazquez / Song produced by Ron Zabrocki) was shot on October 8th. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. What a priceless experience! So, before I share some fun pictures of the whole crew, just a little reminder. Be sure to check your HBO GO – HBO ON DEMAND – HBO LATINO – HBO COMEDY & HBO FAMILY listings for “Sleeping With the Fishes” written and directed by Nicole Gomez Fisher, where you’ll hear “Getting Out Of My Own Way” in its entirety at the end title crawl! And let’s not forget that the main character in “Fishes” is the lovely and talented Gina Rodriguez , who is coming to The CW on October 13th as “Jane The Virgin”. Anyway, I highly recommend you see “Sleeping With The Fishes” on HBO. It’s a true gem. Like Gina Rodriguez says in her recent interview with Fox News Latino, “I feel that ‘Sleeping with the Fishes’ and ‘Jane the Virgin’ get it right by simply telling a story that doesn’t hit you over the head with one thing or another.” So… After a VERY long day’s work… The Video’s Been Shot! And[…]

Blog #70: A Fond Farewell to Pinocchio
On October 13th, 2011 I announced the debut of my blog, “365 Blogs To Finding Pinocchio A Home”. I was to track the musical journey around ways I could make money full-time as a singer/songwriter, musician and performer. My focus; taking consistent actions towards getting my music on TV and film rather than being so concerned with the end results. Why did I call it “365 Blogs To Finding Pinocchio A Home”? My latest single at the time “I Wanna Be Pinocchio” truly touched a spark inside me. It was time to fully commit to what made me happy and let go of being attached to any person, place or thing in the process. Like Pinocchio, I was determined to be vulnerable, truthful and willing to let people in who could help me along my journey of finding out ways to let go of the ropes and stand on my own, humbly. It was very clear, Pinocchio and I were on a similar paths, ironically. So, why not blog about the whole process. Pinocchio would be my muse. Over the past few years, I have written a total of 70 blogs. It has been an incredible learning experience. On[…]
