As Gertrude Stein may have said, “A human being is a human being is a human being.”  It doesn’t matter the color, the creed, the status; every human being should have equal rights.

When I looked up “Human Rights”, it said they are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible… At the individual level, while we are entitled our human rights, we should also respect the human rights of others.”

Yes, we should respect the human rights of others. And today, this has been done, nationwide! Yes, today on Day 18 of this musical vision quest RocketHub journey of mine, I pause and take in this MAJOR moment in history that’s occurred.

What has happened today shifts this world in a positive light. How awesome a day! It’s all about baby steps and this one was, well a HUGE baby step. An absolutely incredible one. A leap forward for human evolution. A coming together of humankind.

Same – sex marriage legal NATIONWIDE!

Yes, this is a beautiful day. I lift my glass to you, my dear friends, to all of you who today get to FULLY celebrate two human beings becoming one, in whatever state you live in. Cheers my friends. Cheers to you! 🌈
