Join the journey with me… Jen’s 2015 Musical Vision Quest RocketHub Campaign!
As week two gracefully comes to an end, I want to thank every one of you who has thus far partnered with me on this rocketship of dreams. Twenty RocketHub fuelers have climbed aboard our rocketship and we are now at 8% of our goal! This gives us $2,145 of the $30,000 we need to make my new album and take that album on tour. We are doing great! I’m so excited to get this project up and running. We can do this, together! I hope that many more of you, who believe in this musical vision quest I’ve shared, will join me as well over the remaining 5 weeks ahead! Let’s continue to have fun along this journey and feed this possibility of making new music that touches people’s hearts!
Before jumping into week three, let’s recap, shall we! We started this week off with my musical journey to LA and the heartfelt story of a man I’d met while street performing on 3rd in Santa Monica during the very first weeks of my busking adventures. We saw a tiny little miracle, him going from homeless to no more in the span of a few years, in “Homeless No More.”
I took you to the streets of The Abbey, in the city of Bath, sharing the adventures of my very first centerfold spread in “What Guitar?”, letting you in on a litle secret; where the inspiration for my song “He’s Like Strawberry Milk” came from, in “My Trip To Bath.”
You learned, through the letter I shared with you, that I wrote to my Mom and Dad, that at six, I wanted to be a nurse because as I noted, “I like helping people”, in “I Want To Be A Nurse.” It was a lot of fun to read all your comments on facebook, by the way, when I asked what you all wanted to be when you grew up, and if that dream of yours from way back turn into something similar to what it started as. Thank you for sharing. It was great hearing from all of you!
I saluted “the fan” and every one of you, in “Dear Anonymous Fan”, and we explored the power of music as I told you a few heartfelt stories during my street performing days on 3rd.
And finally, I told you all about my last full length album “bend” and the inspiration behind one of my songs on it, “Rain Fall Down On Me”. I gifted you a free download so you could experience the story and the song as a whole in, “A Glimpse Into The Human Heart.”
You know, it take a village… And I gotta say, I think the village we have been growing is quite special! Have a beautiful day. I’m looking forward to next week’s journey!
More to come…
